As the 3rd Line Support Manager you will be responsible for:

  • Oversight of customer’s technical infrastructures
  • Working with our proactive monitoring and systems management tools
  • Checking and resolving backup issues
  • A point of higher escalation for all technical & customer queries
  • Designing, presenting and delivering technical projects to existing and new clients
  • Management & oversight of all technical projects
  • Providing Technical Support to our customers
  • Working with SLAtime scales
  • Maintaining an excellent level of customer satisfaction

The successful candidate for the role of 3rd Line Support Manager will have:

  • Have previous experience in a similar role supporting
  • Substantial experience managing a Windows domain environment
  • Management and administration of Office 365 and Azure AD
  • Experience with VMWareEXSi and SAN storage arrays
  • Excellent knowledge of networking, firewalls and switches, IPSec and SSL VPN, VoiP phones
  • Ability to diagnose and fix hardware issues
  • Ability to assess, maintain and improve security in line with industry standards
  • Quickly diagnose and resolve problems with a determined attitude
  • Able to work flexible hours and to travel when require
  • UK driving license and own car, happy to travel to customer sites when required

The following attributes are also desirable:

  • Microsoft Certified Professional, CCIE, CCNA qualifications
  • Experience with VMWare and V-Centre
  • Experience with MS SQL Server
  • Experience with managing Linux (CentOS) servers
  • Experience with multiple different backup systems such as; VEEAM/Symantec/Windows Server backup
  • ITIL v2 and v3
  • Apple iMac Skills

In return the 3rd Line Support Manager will receive a basic salary of £30000 – £35000 and enjoy a relaxed and friendly working environment.
